STUART, Florida- (Friday, January 21, 2011) The VNA of Florida celebrated the Grand Opening of the Grand Oaks Assisted Living Facility on Thursday, January 13th in Okeechobee. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, residents have started moving in to the facility built to house over 40 with a full time staff including an activities coordinator, chef and clinicians.
“We are thrilled to expand our range of services to include assisted living for the people of Okeechobee” stated Don Crow, CEO VNA of Florida. “I could think of no better place than Okeechobee to start a community like Grand Oaks.”
Grand Oaks is still accepting appointments to tour the facility and has a limited number of units still available.
Grand Oaks Assisted Living Community is owned and managed by the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Florida, a locally-owned established and respected non-profit organization providing in-home healthcare for over thirty years.
