Senior Care Resources

Senior Care Resources

The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida strives to be a dependable resource for seniors in all stages of life. We provide a continuum of care for our patients, offering options beyond in-home services. We understand that one type of service may not work for everyone, which is why we make it a priority to cater to a variety of needs. Please explore more of our senior care resources we are proud to offer.

Grand Oaks Assisted Living Communities – In 2011, VNA of Florida opened its first assisted living community in Okeechobee, Florida. We’ve learned much since then, and have continued to expand, opening a second community in 2014 in Jensen Beach, and a third that opened the fall of 2016 in Palm City.

Visiting Physicians of the Treasure Coast – We bring back the house call with Visiting Physicians of the Treasure Coast. Our local health experts will visit you or your loved one in the comfort of home to provide direct primary care.

Support Groups – VNA of Florida offers a support group for those experiencing early stages of Alzheimer’s or dementia. Our Memory Café support group meets once a month and is open to both the individual experiencing memory loss, as well as their caregiver, spouse, loved one, or friend. The group participates in stimulating activities such as word searches, memory games, arts n’ crafts, and more.

Visiting Nurse Management Company – After opening our own assisted living communities, VNA of Florida decided to expand our services further. We decided to put both our experience in home care and assisted living to use to open the Visiting Nurse Management Company. The VNMC will manage and advise assisted living communities across Florida.
