The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida has over 40 years of experience treating patients in their homes. Home health care with VNA of Florida involves our professional and experienced team members visiting you or your loved one in the comfort of home to provide direct care. We offer a variety of services aimed to keep our patients healthy and independent at home. Read about our services below for more information on the care we offer our patients.

 

Skilled Nursing – Skilled nursing with VNA of Florida involves managing, observing, and evaluating a patient’s needs and medical status, as well as educating patients and their loved ones on the recovery process.

Physical Therapy – VNA of Florida provides physical therapy to help patients regain mobility, strength and independence in the comfort of home. We create a customized plan of care to help you or your loved one achieve your rehabilitation goals.

Occupational Therapy – VNA of Florida Occupational Therapists assist patients with activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and bathing. We will work closely with both patient and physician to relearn everyday tasks that may now prove difficult.

Speech Therapy – If you or your loved one has suffered a stroke or other traumatic event, speech therapy may be the next step. VNA of Florida will send a Speech Therapist to your home to assist with activities such as talking, swallowing and voice therapy.

Medical Social Workers – VNA of Florida medical social workers offer support for patients and individuals in need of assistance, whether it be social, financial, or medical. Our Medical Social Workers can help you enroll in medical services, make referrals for assisted living or skilled nursing care, resolve financial issues, and more.

Home Health Aides – Our VNA of Florida Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) can assist you or your loved one with activities of daily living, or ADLs. These can include dressing, grooming, cooking, companionship and more.
