VNA's Best Practices

The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida adheres to a set of standards we believe contribute to the overall success of our agency. We continually strive to better our services, going above and beyond the expectations of our patients. We’ve laid out five key standards that have helped us rank as one of the most highly rated agencies in the nation.

We Focus on Patient-Centered Care – Our patients are our number one priority, so they are naturally the focus of our services. We treat each and every patient as an individual and customize a plan of care unique to their needs.

We Use a Collaborative Care Approach – VNA of Florida uses a collaborative approach when caring for our patients. We involve the patient, caregiver, VNA employee, and the patient’s primary physician throughout the home health process.

We Invest in Our Employees – We believe that the success of our company is directly related to the success of our employees. For this reason we require scheduled continuing education and training for all of our field staff.

We Pride Ourselves on Customer Service – Our patients show us hospitality every day by graciously letting us visit them at home. We make it a priority to repay the favor by catering to the needs of our patients and working to provide the best range of services possible.

We Only Hire Experienced Professionals – Employees must pass local, state and federal background checks before being hired by VNA of Florida. We make it a point to hire qualified professionals we know will provide our patients the level of care they deserve.
