Stay Healthy In Your Own Home VNA Gives Free Fall Prevention Seminar in Hobe Sound

July 28, 2009
STUART, Florida- Florence Nightingale Express arrives in Hobe Sound to give free safety information to the community. The Hobe Sound Community Center will host this presentation on Healthy Aging through Fall Prevention from 6:30pm until 8:00pm on the evening of Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Seniors fall in the safety of their home more than any other location and 1 in every 3 people will experience a fall in late adulthood. Up to 40% of these falls are easily preventable and this presentation teaches valuable methods to make home life safer by avoiding falls.
